One of my best friends got married over the summer!! I was honored and so excited to have been asked to be in the wedding! Even though I couldn’t take photos of the gorgeous ceremony, that did not stop me from at least snapping a few fun ones before. : ) Alina was a beautiful bride, and Rick a handsome groom (sorry, no photos of him…hence the post title “Alina”). I couldn’t be more happy for my best friend and her husband.
ps – make sure to check out the last few…one of my favs is the MOH taking a peek under the dress : )

This year I came up with a new packaging idea for my Traverse City Wedding Photography. I think its pretty cute. What do you think??

Over the summer some friends of ours were married in the Detroit area. They are such an amazing, caring, giving couple and I was honored to be able to photograph their wedding! It’s always fun to be a part of a wedding where you really know the wedding party and the guests and can just relax and truly have fun. That being said, I want to apologize. This is probably the largest post I have done. When your friends are the subjects, I think its a little more difficult to decide what to keep and toss. There are so many different expressions and poses that show their personality. I am pretty proud of myself though. When I started out with photos for this post, it was about double the size! Considering that, I think I did okay. : ) So, if you actually sit and make it through, thank you. If you don’t, because it’s photo overload, that’s fine too. Enjoy!

I thought this Northport family session from earlier this year might help to fight the winter blues. Does it make you miss the water and sun??
